Phillip Leslie Beaulieu, Jr, MD

Phillip Leslie Beaulie, Jr, MDDr. Beaulieu is board certified in Anesthesiology and pain medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship, an Anesthesiology Residency and a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Prior to joining AMG, Dr. Beaulieu has been employed as an interventional pain physician with Advanced Pain Management in Greenfield, Wisconsin and in 2009 he co-founded Integrative Pain Solutions in Nashville, TN.


Hemal Mehta, MD

Hemal Mehta, MDDr. Mehta is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a subspecialty in Pain Medicine. He is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth, Dominica. Dr. Mehta completed a transitional internship and a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Pitt County Memorial Hospital, East Carolina University School of Medicine, Greenville, NC. He completed a fellowship in interventional pain medicine with Pain and Spine Consultants, Brentwood, TN.

Prior to joining AMG, Dr. Mehta was employed by Spine Medicine and Rehabilitation Technology Clinic, Skyline Neuromuscular and Pain Center and Integrative Pain Solutions, Nashville, TN.

Procedures Offered

During regional analgesia a specific area of the body is targeted for pain relief. This type of pain control involves placing a needle near nerves supplying the affected area and then injecting a long acting local anesthetic. The needle placement usually can be done under sedation. Parts of the body that are amenable to nerve blocks include shoulder, wrist, hand, ankle and foot.
